MU OET Counselling 2017- Check Full Process, Schedule, Fee

MU OET Counselling 2017:  The Manipal University admission committee will be conducting the counselling of MU OET 2017 in the first week of June 2017  in both offline and online mode. MU OET 2017 counselling and allotment will be held in seven rounds which will include two offline rounds – intra institute sliding and spot round. The first round, intra-institute sliding and spot round is physical rounds whereas rest of the rounds are online too. Depending on the vacancy, an additional round of counselling will also be conducted. To apply for the counselling round, one have to register himself/herself for the counselling procedure through the official website of Manipal University.

MU OET Counselling 2017

MU OET Counselling- The shortlisted candidates selected for MU OET 2017 Counselling are required to report physically for the registration on the respective institution. The counselling session will commence in the first week of June 2017. The applicants should have scored a valid score in the examination of MU OET 2017 which was conducted from April 24 to May 15, 2017. Allotment of seats will be done through the online mode. The applicants who are allotted a seat but wish to wait for another course or institution will also be eligible for admission through wait listing.

Eligibility Criteria for MU OET 2017 Counselling

The eligibility criteria for the MU OET 2017 Counselling Procedure is as follows:

  • Candidate must have a valid MU OET-2017 rank.
  • Candidate must have passed 10+2/A Level/IB/American 12th grade or equivalent examination with Physics, Mathematics and English as compulsory subjects.
  • Candidate should have minimum aggregate marks of 50% in Physics, Mathematics and one of the optional subjects. Minimum marks should be maintained.
  • Candidates who have appeared for 10+2 /A Level/IB/American 12th grade or Equivalent board examination and are waiting for the results are also eligible for the counselling.
  • Board results should be available on or before July 15, 2017.

Procedure for MU OET 2017 Counselling

There are some steps for completing the counselling procedure for MU OET 2017, these are:

Registration

To participate in the counselling for MU OET 2017, the applicants have to successfully register themselves through the offline mode by presenting physically at the respective institutuion/venue. The applicants will have to access the registration form from the counter at the counselling venue. Filling of the registration form has to be done by the applicants themselves. While registering themselves, the applicants will be required to submit their preferred choices of college and courses along with the registration form. Allotment of seats will be done on the basis of their selection.

Payment of Counselling Registration Fee

The applicants will have to pay both the registration and course fees while applying for the MU OET counselling 2017. Mode of payment is offline only i.e., through a Demand Draft drawn in favour of Manipal University payable at Manipal or Udupi. No other mode of payment of course fees will be accepted apart from it.

Document Verification

The documents to be submitted by the applicants along with their photocopies at the time of counselling for verification are as follows:

  • MU OET 2017 Hall Ticket.

  • Demand Draft of the counselling registration fees and course fees.

  • 10th Standard Mark Sheet as Proof of Date of Birth.

  • Character Certificate issued by the previous School/College.

  • Transfer Certificate or School Leaving Certificate issued by the previous School/College.

  • Copy of PAN Card/Any other ID Proof of the Parent.

  • Four Recent and Identical Passport Size Photograph and One Stamp Size Photograph.

Allotment of Seats

The eligible applicants will be allotted seats as per their ranking in the merit list/entrance exam. The preference of seats and availability of seats will also be a major factor for allotment of seat. The list of the allotted applicants will be made available in online mode also. The applicants will have to report at their allotted institutions for confirmation of admission.

MU OET 2017 Wait List 

The wait list option will be open for those applicants who have been allotted a seat and wish to participate in the second round of counselling and who have already registered but were not allotted any seat in the first round as well. The non-allotted applicants will be required to pay the registration fees. The wait list form will have to be filled in by all of the applicants.
